Ed Davey MP, chair of the Lib Dems national campaigns committee, visited Liverpool to meet party members earlier this week (5th July).

Mr Davey, a senior member of the Lib Dem Parliamentary team, wanted to discuss key policies and campaign plans with activists from Liverpool and elsewhere on Merseyside.

Members had the chance to raise local campaign issues, including the need for better rail links between Liverpool and London and the need for improvements to the health service in the North West.

Ed Davey's visit was one of a series of meetings organised by North West MEP Chris Davies.
