Liverpool has 35 Liberal Democrat Councillors, out of a total of 90. In the Halewood part of Knowsley there are four Lib Dem Councillors (plus some Lib Dems on the town council)
Council areas are divided into wards. In Liverpool and Knowsley each ward has three councillors.
Lib Dem Councillors run regular advice centres, which are sometimes also called surgeries.
Lib Dem Councillors in the Garston and Halewood Constituency are listed in the contacts section of this website. If you want to contact a Councillor in a ward outside the Garston and Halewood constituency, please look for their details on the Liverpool wide website (via the navigation bar) or the Knowsley Council website. In liverpool you can also call Liverpool Direct on 0151 233 3000
If you want to find out which ward you are in you can phone Liverpool Direct on 0151 233 3000 or, if you live in Halewood, phone Knowsley Council. Information about Lib Dem advice centres is available from the individual councillors, from the Liverpool office on 0151 225 2354, from Liverpool Direct or from the Liverpool City Council or Knowsley Council websites.
Please note that some advice centres are run in school buildings, which mean that they are not possible during school holidays.
All Councillors however can be contacted by phone, letter or e mail.
A boundary review meant that the areas covered by the wards, and the names of the wards, changed in June 2004. This means that any paper lists produced before then may give you misleading information. It is always best to check which councillor covers your area before getting in touch.
