The City Council's Community Resource Unit (the section of the Council that is responsible for most of the grants to voluntary organisations) will be asking groups to apply for funds later this year.
To help organisations get ready there are courses all over the City to explain the best ways to collect evidence and fill in the forms.
Every year some organisations fail to get money because they just haven't sent in the right sort of information.
The courses are free and are run by Liverpool Charity and Voluntary Services.
They are all half a day, with a 9 45 am start.
12 August sees one in the City Centre at 151 Dale Street, which is where LCVS is based.
The South Liverpool course is on 20th August at the Garston Reading Room on Wellington Street.
If you want more information, or want to book a place, please contact advice@lcvs.org.uk or call 0151 237 3998.
