Cleaning up Garston Park

Friends of Garston Park logoThe Friends of Garston Park are organising a litter pick this Saturday (17th July).

Volunteers are being asked to meet at 10 30 at the Garston Leisure Centre where litter picks, bags etc will be provided.

The litter pick is one of several activities organised by the Friends Group, which exists to help improve the park and to give local people more sense of ownership.

The Friends are also encouraging people to get involved in their decision making and their work. The next meeting is this Friday (16th July) at 6 30 at Long Lane Church. Information is also available at www.fogp.blogspot.com
