Lib Dem Council tackles potholes.

Liverpool City Council is spending an extra half a million pounds to tackle the problem of potholes caused by the recent severe weather.
This is in addition to the £12m it spends on routine maintenance of the city's road network.
And it will be using the latest jet-power technology to fill in the hundreds of the potholes caused by the big freeze.
The Jetpatcher consists of a special vehicle with all the latest equipment to treat the pot holes rapidly. It causes the minimum of disruption to other drivers.
The Jetpatcher method is a quick and effective way of repairing potholes and cracks within the carriageway. It is operated by just one worker, with the whole operation of cleaning, filling and covering the pothole completed in one smooth operation.
Enterprise-Liverpool, the council's partners, has introduced extra inspection teams and aims to repair most potholes within 24 hours of an inspection.
Councillor Warren Bradley, Leader of Liverpool City Council, said: "Roads up and down the country have been affected by the worst weather for 30 years with the result that, like all other councils, we have to deal with a lot of potholes.
"We are determined we will get these repaired as quickly as possible for the sake of residents, businesses and visitors.
"We are putting extra cash and resources into getting the potholes repaired as quickly as possible. We already have a system where roads are regularly inspected but we are now trying to get the holes fixed within a day to cut down on any disruption to motorists. The Jetpatcher will help us tackle this huge increase in potholes much more quickly and effectively."
