Campaigners wanting to protect the historic Garston hospital building are holding a public meeting in the area later this month.
The meeting takes place on 20th January at 6pm at the Reading Room on Wellington Street in Garston.
The debate centres around plans by the Primary Care Trust to make changes to the Sir Alfred Jones memorial hospital.
Local people have welcomed proposals for extra health services or for improvements to existing services, but are very concerned that the plans include the demolition of the existing building. The current building is very visible because of its situation on a hill and at a junction.
The PCT has yet to submit any plans to the City Council, so it's not yet known when any decision on planning permission will be taken.
