Garston hospital consultation

The Primary Care Trust is holding two consultation sessions for local people to collect comments about its plans for Garston hospital.

These will take place on Weds 7 Jan at the Reading Room on Wellington Street in Garston and Thursday 8 Jan at the Garston Urban Village Hall on Banks Road. On 7 Jan the session will run from 12 to 5 and on 8 Jan from 12 to 6.

The sessions are designed to show people potential designs for the site and are taking place before any planning application is sent in.

Councillors and others have been arguing for the retention of as much as possible of the historic elements of the current building, although its not clear to what extent the plans on show in January will reflect this.
