Cleaning up Speke - Week of Action 15th September

September 11, 2008 12:00 AM

Bin bags of rubbish. As part of the Respect Week in Speke and Garston, which starts on Monday 15th September, Liverpool City Council will be making it easier for local people to have a clear out.

Community Skips will be available in different parts of the area for residents to use. It's hoped this will make it easier for local people to deal with rubbish and will also prevent fly tipping.

On Monday 15th there will be four skips located in East Speke.

  • Oak View (at the junction with East Milwood Road)
  • Hutfield Road
  • Critchley Road, opposite the junction with Catford Green
  • East Damwood Road, at the junction with Critchley

On the Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday there will be skips available in other parts of Speke, including Linner Road and The Crescent. Residents should receive a leaflet with details. Information is also available from 0151 233 3001.
