Liverpool talent search underway!

'Now That's What We Call Culture' is the biggest regional talent search ever!
Celebrities including, Claire Sweeney, Jennifer Ellison, Leon Lopez, Phil Redmond and Hollyoaks cast members, Stuart Manning and Jessica Fox, support the search for Merseyside's very own stars of the future.
Absolutely anyone can take part you don't have to be a wannabe Wombat, a Lilly Savage lookalike or even a dead ringer for Doddy. If you can wow an audience and pull a crowd, we want to see you.
Two days of auditions will be held at the Echo Arena on 6th and 7th August and 12 lucky finalists will be invited to perform at a one night only star-studded finale on August 8th. To audition fill in a registration form at www.culture.org.uk
Celebrity presenters and judges will be on hand to give their reaction, remarks and recommendations. The lucky winner(s) will get the chance to play a starring role in the closing ceremony of the Capital Culture Year, a guest appearance in Channel 4's award winning teen drama Hollyoaks, and a cash prize of £1000.
Phil Redmond, Creative Director, said, "I have been saying that I wanted to find ways for more people to not only get involved in Capital of Culture but, through the Open Culture project, actually get involved in creating culture, so taking over the Arena in August is one way for anyone to come down and show their own talent - because That's What We Call Culture!
"Even if you don't want to perform, come and support and celebrate those that do - and judging from the various local talent shows I have been at this year - this show will be one well worth seeing."
