money going down a drainThe Labour party in Liverpool wants the City to give Labour's Joe Anderson a £50,000 pay rise if they win in Liverpool on 1st May.

Councillor Anderson wants to quite his job if his party wins and be paid by local taxpayers instead..

Many local people are already feeling the pinch with Gordon Brown's tax hike for the low paid as well as rising fuel and food bills.

They simply can't afford to give extra money to Joe.
