One day left to get postal vote!

Ballot papers on tableThe deadline for applying for a postal vote in this May's local elections is tomorrow (Wednesday 16th April)

That means forms have to be filled in and back to the relevant local council.

Anyone can apply for a postal vote and it is particularly useful for people who may have to be away from home for work or who find it difficult to get to the polling station.

To combat potential fraud, voters are asked for a signature and a date of birth.

If you want to apply for a postal vote by tomorrow please contact the electoral registration department at your council. This website carries links to both Liverpool City Council and Knowsley Council.
