Stop Labour's Dump

Lib Dem Councillor Tom Marshall and the Liberal Democrats are fighting Labour's plans to build a waste dump at Holt Lane, L27.
The plans have been drawn up by the Labour led Merseyside Waste Disposal Authority, who have then insisted on discussing the scheme in private.
"There is no way we can sit back and let Labour turn our area into a dumping ground" says Tom.
"There has been too much secrecy from Labour over this. What have they got to hide?"
At a meeting of the Waste Disposal Authority, Labour and Tory representatives voted to seize the land to develop the dump.
Liverpool Lib Dem members on the authority resigned in disgust over the scheme.
