Don't axe bus say Lib Dems

Lib Dem Campaigners in Cressington ward are calling on Arriva not to axe the 48a bus service.
The service connects St Marys Road and Aigburth Road with the City Centre and further north and with Liverpool John Lennon airport to the South.
It follows a different route to the 82.
Cllr Peter Millea has met with the regional director of Arriva to argue that the bus route should be kept.
"If this goes it will be a great loss" says Peter. "I am urging local people to use the route to demonstrate that there is a need for the service".
