Free compost for keen gardeners

As a thank you to Liverpool residents, Liverpool City Council, in partnership with Merseyside Waste Disposal Authority, is giving away 20 tonnes of compost over the weekend of 15th-16th March.
The event will take place in over two days:
Saturday 15th March 2008
Croxteth Park - car park off Oak Lane. 10-2pm.
Sunday 16th March 2008
Clarkes Gardens, Springwood Avenue - car park area on left. 10-2pm
Residents must bring along their own bags and shovels to collect compost and stock is limited so please arrive early. Stock restrictions may be put in place on the day.
