Woolton and Gateacre Councillors report back

Traffic and parking problems were high on the list of issues raised by residents at recent Your Community Matters meetings covering the Woolton and Gateacre areas.
Lib Dem Councillors for Woolton have agreed to provide funding for speed indicator devices in Woolton Village and on Halewood Road in Gateacre. The signs react automatically to traffic speeds, encouraging drivers to slow down if necessary.
Up to date information on the traffic problem is also going to be collected through a survey of residents and local businesses. The survey is to be carried out by pupils at St Julies High School.
