A Lib Dem Councillor has called for measures to make sure a demolished building doesn't become a site for anti social behaviour.
The empty building, which used to be Dorset Court in Belle Vale, is to be demolished after agreement by Liverpool City Council's Executive Board last week (Friday 4th January).
But Lib Dem Councillor for Belle Vale, Tom Marshall, says its important that the site is protected properly until it can be put to other use.
Says Tom: "I attended the Executive Board meeting last week to make sure extra measures would be taken. I have asked for proper protection and for some landscaping work, to make sure there aren;t any missiles lying about"
Tom was the only one of the three Belle Vale City Councillors to bother to turn up for discussion of this important local issue.
