Leadership election - just a week left to vote

Members of the Lib Dems have just one more week to cast their votes in the election for leader of the party.

The members are voting in a postal ballot, with a deadline on 15th December and a count and announcement on Tuesday 18th December.

The ballot is being conducted by the Electoral Reform Society.

There are two candidates in the election - MPs Chris Huhne and Nick Clegg. The election has included a series of hustings for members all over the country.
