"Respect" week in Speke and Garston

Liverpool City Council and other organisations including the police and the fire service, are coming together next week (w/c 10 December) for a Respect Week of Action in Speke/Garston ward.

The idea is to take targeted action on environmental and community safety problems, while also highlighting other activities going on in the community.

Activities range from extra work by Truancy Watch, high visibility police patrols and fly tipping clear ups to a Winter ~Wonderland event, after-school activities and career advice.

The week is being co ordinated by Liverpool First.

Residents in Speke/Garston should receive a leaflet listing all the events being organised or highlighted. Information is also available however from 0151 233 3018.
