Representatives from Woolton Village will be at the North West in Bloom awards this Friday (October 19th) to see if they can make it four wins in a row.
Woolton is again entered in the "Best Large Village" category, which it has won three times already.
The village has also represented the North West in the national Britain in Bloom awards.
Woolton's entry has been organised by a keen group of volunteers, including local councillors Barbara Mace and Barbara Collinge, with the active support of the City Council.
Says Barbara Mace: " Our volunteers put so much effort into this and we have seen Woolton Village really gain from the work over the years. Winning is always a great testament to the community spirit here, and entering the awards helps us keep that community spirit going"
