City Council by election - polling day this week

A Liverpool City Council by election takes place later this week.

It was caused by the death of Cllr Joan Lang, who was Lord Mayor of the City last year.

Joan represented Warbreck ward in north Liverpool. The Liberal Democrat candidate in the election is local resident, Richard Roberts.

People living in Warbreck should have received their polling cards by now for the contest, which takes place on Thursday 13th September.

The polls are open from 7 am to 10 pm.

People with postal votes should have received these by now. They need to be received by 13th September. They can either be posted in the envelope provided, or handed in, sealed, at a polling station.
