Running a street party? Free advice

June 13, 2007 12:00 AM

Free workshops are to take place in South Liverpool to help groups planning street parties for the celebration of Liverpool's 800th birthday later this year.

The workshops will provide information on a range of issues, including important health and safety information.

On 22 June there'll be one taking place at Allerton Library from 1 to 3pm.

And on 4th July the location is Childwall Library from 10 am to 12 noon.

Anyone interested in booking a place should contact Phil Taylor at

phil.taylor@liverpool.gov.uk

A guide to running a party for the birthday celebrations is also available on- line at www.liverpool08.com
