South Liverpool Councillor, Flo Clucas, is calling on the Royal Mail to produce special stamps to celebrate Liverpool's 800th birthday.
Cllr Clucas, who represents Allerton and Hunts Cross, is making the call in a motion to the Council.
In her motion she say that there is already an art competition going on to find images as part of the birthday celebrations. Some of the winning designs, she says, should be used as stamps to celebrate the birthday year, or to celebrate capital of culture.
Following Flo's call, executive member Keith Turner will be asked to look at how to take the idea forward.
