Today, May 4th , is polling day in the local elections. Each ward in Liverpool will be electing one Councillor. Polling stations are open from 7 am to 10pm. You don't need your polling card with you to vote - as long as you are on the electoral roll.

In Garston constituency the Liberal Democrat Candidates are

Allerton and Hunts Cross - Vera Best

Belle Vale - Peter Rainford

Childwall - Sir Trevor Jones

Church - Colin Eldridge

Cressington - Dr Richard Oglethorpe

Mossley Hill - Tina Gould

Speke/Garston - Frank Roderick

Woolton - Malcolm Kelly

The results are likely to be known in the early hours of Friday morning.

Results will be posted on this website on Friday, but should also be available at

www.liverpool.gov.uk.
