People in Liverpool are still facing huge problems sorting out their child and working family tax credits.
That's according to a report released today by a committee of MPs, who spent some time looking into how the scheme was working.
And despite the first year of the scheme being marked by nearly one third of people getting wrong payments, the MPs found that the following year was no better.
Huge numbers of people have been paid wrongly - usually through no fault of their own. This means low income families are then hounded by the government about the wrongful payments.
And that causes stress and forces many into debt.
Says Lib Dem spokesperson Paula Keaveney: " I have constituents who are still struggling to get their situations sorted out from more than one year ago. Clearly the revenue has learned nothing. There must be a simpler way of helping low income families than this"
