Belle Vale Park and Gateacre Recreation Ground are both to benefit from spending on improvements later this year.
The schemes are to be agreed by the Lib Dem controlled City Council at its executive board meeting later this week (Friday 28th April).
Belle Vale park is to get new bins, improvements to footpaths, more planting and a wildflower meadow.
The recreation ground at Gateacre is to get a new footpath between Nookfields and Belle Vale Road, a new wildflower meadow and other improvements.
The work at Belle Vale Park will be part of its entry in the Green Flag award scheme.
