Woodlands estate - Pride in Our Area revamp

The Woodlands Estate in the Netherley Area is looking better thanks to the Pride in Our Area campaign.
Councillors, community activists and others worked with the City Council neighbourhood team on making the area look better.
Young people from the estate took part in drawing up plans and making sure their views were taken into account.
As a result they chose a covered shelter next to the floodlit sports pitch so that watching sport doesn't mean getting soaked on rainy days.
The Lib Dem Team in Netherley and Belle Vale want to hear from local residents about other areas that could do with some Pride in Our Area campaign attention.
