Liverpool's Central station is an eyesore which needs sorting out urgently, says a Garton Lib Dem spokesperson.
Councillor Paula Keaveney, who represents Garston and Speke, is to question a Merseytravel representative at a City Council meeting tonight (15th march).
She is to ask about the state of the station, which is dirty, dark, marked by graffiti and has a leaking roof.
Says Paula:
"Lots of my constituents in South Liverpool travel on the train to and from Central station every day. And they have to put up with a substandard station which is dirty and uncomfortable. Because of the neglect, the station can also feel unsafe. It's high time something was done to sort out this problem"
