Liberal Democrats in South Liverpool are campaigning for better public transport across the area.
The campaigners are taking a series of initiatives to raise the issue and get a better deal for local people.
Councillor Frank Roderick is to raise the lack of services in Speke, and particularly in East Speke, at a City Council meeting later this week(15th march).
At the same meeting Councillor Paula Keaveney is to raise the safety of bus passengers after a series of incidents in which bricks were thrown at buses travelling through Garston.
And in the Netherley and Belle Vale areas, Councillor Tom Marshall is calling for direct services between his area and the Liverpool Women's hospital.
Tom has been asked to join a special Merseyside wide working group to look at how more funding can be put into improving bus services in areas like Netherley and Belle Vale. He is keen to hear people's ideas about what services should be provided and why.
Contact details for the councillors involved are available via the navigation bar of this website, or from 0151 233 3000. Information about the City Council meeting, and other meetings of the Council, is available at www.liverpool.gov.uk (look for the section on councillors and decision making)
