Liberal Democrat Councillors in Liverpool have elected a new leader.
He is Councillor Warren Bradley, a firefighter who up to now has also been the executive member for leisure on the council.
Councillor Bradley replaces Councillor Mike Storey who resigned recently.
The election for leader saw three candidates stand - Councillor Flo Clucas and Councillor Paul Clein were the other two.
There is due to be a formal vote in the City Council meeting on 7th December when Warren Bradley will be nominated as leader of Liverpool City Council.
