The Boundary Commission has confirmed that, at the next General Election, Garston and Halewood will be in the same constituency.
A review of Parliamentary Constituencies has been taking place, looking at the boundaries all over Merseyside. This week (23 November) the final decision was announced.
The new boundaries mean that people in Halewood will, after the next election, be represented by the same MP as those in Garston constituency.
The change does not affect local councillors, or which local authority people live in. It will however affect how they are represented in Parliament.
Information about the change, and the other changes in Liverpool and Merseyside, is available from the Boundary Commission in London.
