The Merseyside Environmental Trust is to hold a debate and discussion event on global warming, with invited speakers, in Central Liverpool later this month.
Joining the speakers on March 9th will be Councillor Paula Keaveney, the assistant exec member for green issues on Liverpool city Council
Says Paula:
"Global warming is something we all need to take a lot more seriously. Whether it's by changing our lifestyles to cause less damage, or by lobbying governments, or by making changes as politicians. As a Lib Dem one of the things I am keen to ensure is that environmental issues stay high on the political agenda. I hope this debate will help us focus our minds further on what needs to be done"
The event takes place at the Friends Meeting House on Paradise Street at 6pm.
More information about the event is available from paula@garstonld.org.uk
