Watch out for computer fraud says Euro MP

Chris Davies MEP for the North West of EnglandA north West Euro MP has highlighted an interneet scam that may be costing some Liverpool computer users hundreds of pounds.

Chris Davies has discovered that rogue programmes on computes can disconnect discontect and then dial up a premium rate, costing up to £1 50 per minute.

scam scame came to light when a constituent noticed that his computer had repeatedly called a number on a South Pacific Island.

Mr Davies is warning local people to be on their guard, and to contact the regulator icstis if they have worries.
