The Liberal Democrats today (Tuesday 14th September) launched a pre manifesto document, outlining party policies in the run up to the next General Election.
Called Freedom, Fairness, Trust, the pre manifesto lists reasons to vote Liberal Democrat and stresses the party's environmental credentials.
The top ten reasons for voting Lib Dem include the party's opposition to tuition fees, commitment to abolishing the council tax and pledge to put 10,000 more bobbies on the beat.
Freedom,Fairness, Trust will be debated at the party's annual national conference, which starts in Bournemouth on 19th September.
Says Paula Keaveney, Liberal Democrat Parliamentary Spokesperson for Garston:
" This document outlines the core reasons to vote Lib Dem, which spring from our principles of liberty, equality and community. Already I am finding Labour voters and supporters saying the stances we have taken on key issues are a reason to abandon Labour and support the Lib Dems"
