Paula Keaveney, Lib Dem Parliamentary Spokesperson for Garston, is calling on rail operators to make stations more accessible for elderly and disabled people.
She makes the call in a motion to Liverpool City Council, which is next due to meet on 1st September.
Says Paula: Many railway stations are just unsuable by disabled people. Hunts Cross and Cressington are two examples where access is difficult and people may find themselves unable to get to the trains.
